Any ideas for a Chem 121 - General Chemistry with Lab independent study course?
Has to be from an accredited institution. Prefer non-proctored if possible.
Thanks!!!

So, it can't be taken at StraighterLine (ace-approved)?

I wish! Straighterline was already shot down. So was Colorado State Chem 101. I guess it was not in depth enough.
This is for a friend BTW who is struggling in a traditional Chem class at about the halfway point. So trying to save her GPA with a withdrawal and a quick self paced option.

You'll need to know which school's course will transfer- has there been any guidance from an advisor? Just because a school is RA doesn't mean the course will transfer. If your friend is having difficulty in a classroom setting, they probably won't do any better in an IS environment, so maybe taking a different lab science. e.g., biology or geology is a better option.

It may not be too late for your friend to get a tutor. It can be a very helpful option for college courses.

That's a tall order. I don't know of any unproctored and self-paced chemistry w/ lab courses. If she can switch to biology KCTCS would fit the bill:

They have chemistry too but there's no lab component with it.
