Need Early preparation for BLS with Project management as a minor

Hello all, 
I will be starting the BLS with a minor at UMPI on May 9th. I am trying to initiate early work in order to be able to complete 10 classes as fast as I can. Does anyone have any suggestion on where can I find study material that will be helpful in serving my goal? I also would like to be able to do the Master's at UMPI, so it will be nice if I can transfer some classes from the BLS
Here are the classes that I need:
     Eng 121 and Hty 116

Take all of your project management courses at UMPI. You'll create a project in BUS141 and you will use that template in BUS400 & BUS401. I'd also take the English courses at UMPI. Faster and easier than elsewhere. Is HTY116 for the GEC? You can take US History 1 & 2 on Sophia for that area of the GEC.

Based on this list you only have 10 classes left to complete your degree. If you want the course waivers from the BLS to the MAOL then you have to take those classes at UMPI. You can't transfer into UMPI and have them waived in the MAOL.

As per your info above, you must take 10 courses, I would take everything at UMPI as mentioned by ss20ts, you can ask the advisor if you can transfer the two UL elective courses in and complete them along with your Sophia.org History course, you can find UL courses at Study.com and it'll be $199/month for exactly two courses!

All of the study material you need will be in the class. I don't remember anyone saying that they needed outside help for any of what you posted. Accounting is slightly different, and some people have found other materials to be helpful. But the list you posted seems to be pretty straightforward.

If you just want to self-study material so that when you encounter it at UMPI, it's not all new - then you could easily get a month of Study.com (not the college accelerator version, since you don't need credits - there's a cheaper option for like $60 I think). You can take as many courses as you want in a month, so that's your best option.

A free option is Saylor, they may have all of these courses as well, but I'm not sure how well-done they are.

All of the answers to the quizzes are found in the course content. The instructions for the Final Assessment are found in the course. ^^This^^. Most CBE courses build on what you already know and have very less "learning", it's more assessment and completion of assignments. You rarely have time to "learn or pre-study" these 10 course subjects, as these are not often taught elsewhere like an "Intro to College Algebra", these are all specific business courses. Since there are no textbooks, the only thing you can do is invest in a second monitor. While doing readings and assignments, have the second monitor for review/searching your information/learning content provided.

One more thing to point out, you should take YourPace courses and go according to your energy, schedule, speed, time, whatever it may be - go at YourPace. Just because the person next to you can finish 5 courses in one term and finish off the degree in two doesn't mean you have to rush yourself... some may need 3 or 4 terms because of commitments, that's why we like asking questions to get more info on your situation.

If you have time and want to prepare for a degree, it's not hard to see why someone might want to get some familiarity with the course content beforehand.  Being somewhat familiar with terms and definitions may help someone get through faster.  Learning something when you already have familiarity with it is actually really good for your brain - you create new pathways and it "sticks" better.

It's like someone who is planning on getting an MBA but doesn't have a lot of the pre-reqs (and not being required to take them) go ahead and spend some time learning them anyway.  It just makes the MBA a bit easier.  It certainly cannot hurt to pre-learn some material.

I took a math course this term, and a lot of it was review, so I felt like the stuff I already knew went very well, and the stuff that was completely new was a much smaller portion of the course, and I felt like it was very easy to learn it because I was in "math mode."

Again, wanting to brush up or study ahead is a great idea for people.  It may not cover exactly what is covered in the course, but it cannot HURT to do this.

But you don't know what will be covered in the course! Many of the sources suggested on here are total overkill for UMPI courses. Their business courses are not challenging. Everything you need is in the course. You have to write the Final Assignments to the course content as well.
