Thanks to the knowledge from this forum my brother is now a Pierpont graduate, he got the AAS with the Information Systems concentration.
We are the first in our families to get degrees, the information in this forum has been extremely valuable to us. Thank you so much to everyone who contributes so much to make this a priceless resource.
He is now on to UMPI for the BLS with the Project Management concentration.
My brother and I are very similar and we both have had stints at various community colleges are working adults, which has been really difficult to balance, so finding Sophia, Study and the competency-based methods have truly changed our lives.
Thank you again, everyone!

@mohelena02, Congrats to the bro. The UMPI BLS Project Management minor is a great option, do you know if he would 'add' to that say the MIS minor as well? Technically, depending on his classes he transfers in, he may not have enough UL for the degree, thus, he would need to take some courses anyways, he can get the MIS minor as well! Just curious, has he looked at the same TAMUC BAAS OL that you took or the WGU degrees and decided he wanted the UMPI BLS PM instead?

What is the MIS minor? I am not familiar. He doesn't have many UL credits, that has been his biggest hang up and issue is having to complete some through Study.
He lives in California, so the TAMUC degree is not as cheap for him as it was for me (TX resident) and finances were a big concern. He was interested in WGU's IT/Tech degrees but opted to go the route without so many exams with UMPI. The best option was the PM concentration for him, but he may eventually go to WGU for a more technical Master's.

Management Info Systems, it's one of 5 Your Pace minors for the BLS, in addition to Project Management, Management, and Accounting, Educational Studies. He can do the UMPI BLS with a couple minors, or three if he wanted, I suggest to max the UL and get a second minor in the process. He can then ladder up to the WGU Masters when he's ready.

The UMPI BAS is another option if he wants something more IT related.
