He says it's not as restricted as the Apple IPAD on the features. It looks a little cheaper also than the IPAD and supposedly does more, well about the same price I guess. Any one here has any experience with this, good or bad reviews?

Motorola Xoom is an impressive tablet and over and above you an use some of the ipad accessories as well with this. Most of the geeks are impressed in the first look itself. Besides good looks and big screen, it comes with the latest android version and the hardware configuration is good too. Motorola Xoom gives a good competition to its rivals iPad 2, Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 and BlackBerry Playbook.
The Good -

- Dual-Core Processor.
- Dual Cameras.
- 10.1-inch Display.

The Bad -

- Bigger.
