really dumb question here:
are the credits needed for a minor in addition to the 120 credits needed to get the reg. BA?

No questions are dumb when you are trying to learn. Not all colleges have minors, but if they do the credits are usually part of the total needed for the degree, not all bachelors degrees are 120 credits. What college and degree are you interested in?
