Does it require 2 history courses or just one of them? I wasn't able to find a breakdown of these requirement on their website.

After that you may need more or less in an area depending on your concentration.

Thanks. Wonder if one completes AA at COSC, then one can complete BA portion with TESU? I like the variety of majors TESU offers.

Completing an AA at COSC and then a Bachelors at TESU doesn't make sense. You would have to take the cornerstone at both schools and it would cost a lot money and be kind of pointless.

If you want an AA and also TESU bachelors why not just get an AA at TESU first and then move to a bachelors at the same school?

I have all ACE credits and community college and between both, looks like I already have all the courses for an AA degree at COSC. Also COSC allows for 6 credits not 16 as residency requirements. But ultimately COSC doesn't have any BA majors that I would consider pursuing.

but you're going to pay at least $1257 for an AS degree at COSC

3 credits for the cornerstone * 419 per credit

https://www.charteroak.edu/prospective/tuition/

https://www.charteroak.edu/catalog/2017-...ements.php

and then you're going to have to pay for a SECOND cornerstone at TESU

so why not just do the entire thing at TESU ?

you're going to pay for courses for the BA there anyway -- so pay for a couple and use them to complete any TESU requirements for the AS degree
and they will also fulfill requirements for the BA degree

I would not consider switching between the Big 3 at all, because it's just too expensive to do so.

Instead, I'd enroll at the school where you ultimately want to get your degree, and then do that. An AA is an unnecessary expense, and slows everything down if you switch schools. It's thousands of dollars you don't need to spend.
TESU BSBA/HR 2018 - WVNCC BOG AAS 2017 - GGU Cert in Mgmt 2000

Thanks,  I am currently enrolled at TESU, I agree, was just exploring different options, as for example, with COSC i'd get in-state tuition. Also with a ton of credits I already have, was wondering where to get the AA and save some time. Once that is completed it is considered as a block and do not have to worry about it anymore. There are a couple of courses that are slowing me down because they are just not my thing, and if other courses I already have can satisfy that category, that would be a time saver.

Just be aware you are linking the 2017 requirements above. It denotes the year at bottom of page. I think they are the same, but here is the 2019-2020 requirements: https://www.charteroak.edu/catalog/curre...ements.php

What's your planned major at TESU? Just curious. Surely there is something between all the concentrations available at COSC (including Liberal and Individualized Studies) that would be easier or at least a little tempting for you. It's ultimately your call, but I would be all over that in-state tuition if I were in your shoes.

If you're interested, I'm sure we can help you piece something together.
