Sure not know yet which school i choose, but i think Excelsior make a good change (because im international student and toefl things.....).
If you can get it for free then the only thing you have to waste is your time, vs money. Now if it later helps prepare you for a math you'll need (assuming you don't choose Excelsior) then your time was not wasted; as you'll have worked on preparing for a course. However, if math is not your strong suit then I would be very surprised you'd choose a statistics course route to obtain the required math credits for either COSC or TESU.
I honestly think your time would be better spend preparing/learning for free through Kahn for Algebra, and then moving onto ALEKS for a month at $20; as Algebra would work at all of the Big3 for 3 credits of math.
