I am a TESU graduate and I am waiting to see if I was accepted to the GaTech OMSCS program.
Have many of us on here made that journey? How was it for you? Were there any "I wish I knew this before I started" things you could share?

Graduating from UMPI this year, but applying to the OMSA program. Has there been a pretty big pipeline from TESU to Gatech?

I've been reading through some posts on the OMSCS subreddit, and it seems that at least one or two grads from TESU have been accepted into the OMSCS program each semester. I even met a guy from China who used TESU as a credit bank to complete all the necessary pre-requisites through Study.com to get in.

I was accepted to OMSCS after my TESU BACS. However, shortly into my first semester, I realized I didn't have the time or motivation for it. I'd say if you flew through a bunch of alt credits, you'll need to be prepared for the more traditional coursework.
NanoDegree: Intro to Self-Driving Cars (2019)
Coursera: Stanford Machine Learning (2019)
TESU: BA in Comp Sci (2016)
TECEP:Env Ethics (2015); TESU PLA:Software Eng, Computer Arch, C++, Advanced C++, Data Struct (2015); TESU Courses:Capstone, Database Mngmnt Sys, Op Sys, Artificial Intel, Discrete Math, Intro to Portfolio Dev, Intro PLA (2014-16); DSST:Anthro, Pers Fin, Astronomy (2014); CLEP:Intro to Soc (2014); Saylor.org:Intro to Computers (2014); CC: 69 units (1980-88)

In addition to that, I've been recommending people not to put all their eggs in the Georgia Tech basket. I've mentioned to also apply to U of T - Austin as an example of their first choices and other options mentioned on the board (graduate section) as back ups.
