Wow KayV, that is awesome, thank you so much! I have started the application process and will get a copy of my ECE evaluation forwarded onto TESC and see what they say.

I thought you might like to see an alternative plan that could be completed entirely with Straighterline classes except the Capstone, since I'm not really sure about your access to Saylor/ PF/ etc. This is for a BA in Natural Science and Mathematics at TESC. You could fill up the free electives with 5 SL business classes if your ultimate goal is an MBA.
TESC BA Natural Science and Mathematics I. General Education Requirements 1. English (6 credits) 2. Mathematics (6) 3. Computer Technology I (5) 4. Introduction To Philosophy (3) 5. American Government (3) 6. Biology (6) 7. Microeconomics (3) 8. Introduction To Communication (3) 9. Introduction To Religion (3) 10. Need SL Business Ethics (3) 11. Need SL Anthropology or Sociology (3) 12. Physics (6) 13. Economic Issues (5) (ECO-299) 14. Quantitative Methods I (5) (MAT-119) 15. (2 hours of mathematics from IPS move to gen ed electives) II. KayV, thank you again for these plans. I really like this one as being able to complete as many other courses through straighterline works well for me. I was wondering if/how you would suggest I show that plan to the admissions people at TESC. I imagine without any guidance they might not suggest as much of the degree fulfilled with my existing credits as you have?

I have never dealt with admissions at TESC, but I would let them come up with their own evaluation, then ask for approval to move things around or fulfill degree requirements listed above as needed. Don't want them to get a burr under the saddle, as it were.

Sounds like a good idea! I will proceed gently! Thank you again, for all your help, I am really excited to kick on with that plan!

Hi mog538,
I too transferred a lot of credits from Scotland and ended up completing the BA in Natural Science and Mathematics at TESC last year - looks like you are really close to that too. Good luck with your decision!

Hi AlbaTiVo, congratulations on the BA and thank you for the encouragement, I am pretty excited about being (hopefully) closer to the "finishing line" than I thought!
Did you have any problems with tranfer of credit or anything else I should be aware of?

I used WES rather than ECE, but everything transferred fine. The only issue I ran into was that one of my Scottish transcripts was missing a class so I had to have that resent to WES. It didn't hold me up though as I knew where the class would fit on on my plan once it was updated.

Alba, that's great news, hopefully my transfer goes smoothly also. I did have to email ECE as I have some classes missed also. Hopefully will hear back from them tomorrow now that the holiday period is over.

KayV,
I was just going over the degree plan you put together for me and I was wondering about this section: 15. (2 hours of mathematics from IPS move to gen ed electives) I don't understand what it references, could you explain what IPS stands for and where those 2 credits move to/from please. Thanks
