For now, UMPI seems to be the best choice (graded, fast, flexible). He needs to get the transcripts before September for grad school application, most community colleges are term-based (unless he registers for summer session, but UMPI is still faster).
I'm so confused. The initial post was about getting an associate degree but your friend wants to apply for grad school in September? They need a bachelor's degree not an associate degree for grad school. Do they plan an enrolling grad school in September? They may not have their UMPI degree conferred by then. If they can complete all 10+ of their UMPI courses in Summer Session 2 then the degree will confer at the end of September or early October. It's been taking them 4-6 weeks to confer degrees once the session ends and grades are submitted.

Yeah, it started off asking about getting RA credit through the PUG Associates courses. Now we know they're just looking for graded credits for grad studies. UMPI and other CBE options would be your best bet, UMPI being slightly cheaper and easier than the rest of the bunch...

Exactly. He already has a bachelor (very low GPA) and only needs an additional undergrad-level transcript with higher grades (hopefully UMPI could help). It's only for grad application, he doesn't really need to complete the UMPI degree.

He might be better off completing the UMPI degree than not. It could show the grad school that he's serious about his studies. The grad school will most likely calculate his GPA based on his last 60 credits. That's typically what they are looking at.

I answered your question on the other thread you posted this on.
