I've received so much help and guidance here, I wanted to give something back. I struggled with Algebra for a long time. A co-worker mentioned this site, I went there, watched a few videos, and I was hooked! It's totally free (you can contribute if you's like). Sal has an amazing gift of making the most complex topics easy to understand. BTW, it's so much more than just Algebra tutorials.

Khan Academy is wonderful. It's a wonderful resource when you're trying to teach yourself a topic that just doesn't make sense. I saw an interview with Sal Khan on Colbert.. seemed like such a nice guy. Of course, I was already convinced of that before the interview!

Two thumbs up for Khan! cheersmate As a math major I'm very happy to see someone do a series of videos from pre-algebra up through calc4 with all the appropriate stops along the way: linear algebra, probability, etc. Very smart, very humble, and his voice doesn't suck. Hard to do better.

Sal was my stats teacher I passed my DSST using only his videos!(I'm not counting my miserable attempt at learning stats via ALEKS which I ultimately dropped out at ~50% lol)
He pulled me through anatomy, bio, and chem too, but I was in actual classes for those subjects. Stats was alllllll him. :hurray:

I love it, I'm a 100% believer and i sent them a note thanking them when I completed my coursework.
That my friends is the future of education BAR NONE. The only downside to them is that Sal hasn't made every video on every topic ever... but they're getting there.
Its nearly a BSBA right there on Youtube.
