Kaplan Documenting Your Experiences for College Credit

I finished the quizzes yesterday afternoon, requested them for ACE, and today they're already approved. Very fast.

I wish my free CPCU ethics class would hurry up and get approved for my ACE transcripts as well!

Do you have to pass them on the first try? Or do they allow multiples attempts?

Multiple attempts.

For Kaplan, not CPCU, they tell you what you got wrong on the first attempt.

Just started the Kaplan Documenting your experiencens for College Credit. If you complete all the quizzes (and get more than 70%), you can get the college credit through ACE.
You don't have to start the portfolio and submit it to get the college credits.

Correct.

Finish the 7 quizzes with a passing score, then request through ACE for it to be added to your completed courses, and they'll approve it in about a day or two.

I created an account with Kaplan, signed up to take the: HUO250: Humanities and Culture class, however it will not let me take the quiz w/o paying a $100 fee. Can someone please post the link to the FREE quizzes???

That's the wrong class.

The only free, ACE approved Kaplan class is this one:

Did you do "everything except pay" or just the quizzes? I did only the quizzes, scored fine on all of them (90, 80, 80, 100, 90, 100, 90). When I asked ACE to verify the credits, it took a few days and was rejected -- "Denied by Organization. Reason: The student did not complete this course/examination/CEU".

I went back through and started entering my resume, writing the papers they wanted, etc. -- all the non quiz stuff -- but haven't submitted yet.

When I did it a couple of weeks ago, all I did were the 7 quizzes. Maybe just an error on Kaplan's end, and resubmitting will help? Or maybe the info you gave Kaplan doesn't match your ACE profile?

I did it without doing all of the resume stuff, actually went through the course and did the quizzes, then submitted with no problems.

My husband did it recently without doing anything except quizzes, it showed up on his ACE transcript just fine.

You might want to check again, if you put in any info that doesn't match up with ACE (name is different, date completed is different), then it won't go through. But you definitely do not have to do the whole program to get credit.
