Analyzing and Interpreting Literature

I wish you luck! I'm taking this on Monday, so please post your feedback on it after you pass.

I haven't done much studying based on what others have said here, other than taking the CLEP and touching on Peterson's a bit. I'm a little nervous about it, because I'm not very good at interpreting poetry and I also worry so much about the time ticking away that it's hard to concentrate on reading and actually comprehending....

Sorry to break what seemed like a "passing streak". I did not pass this exam. I think I was so worried about the time that I rushed through the first questions, then finished with time to spare. I am glad so many of you thought this was an easy exam. I did practice test after practice test, and still had no clue what I was doing. This is one test that I will not repeat.

Don't sweat it! I agree with past statements on this forum that the multiple choice questions on A&I Lit are "you know it or you don't". They are very difficult to adequately study for--if not almost impossible. Be not discouraged!

After I failed my first CLEP (English Comp w/ essay), it took me a whole year to muster the courage to take another exam. This is alot like riding a horse--sometimes you'll ride it out, sometimes you'll get thrown, but it doesn't matter how hard you hit the ground and how discouraged you feel, the important thing is dusting yourself off and climbing back on. Don't let this plant a seed of fear in you like it did me---climb back on, girl, and pass your next exam!
