Is 1-2 weeks enough time?

Im interested in taking the clep for a science requirement at my school by the end of april- the LATESt. I need a 50 to pass and I plan to take biology. Is 1 to 2 weeks enough time for study? where do you recommend I go for a faced paced cram session?

Do you think Ill have better luck with natural science giving the amount of time i have to study?

The Clep Bio exam is a BIG exam as Bio is a pretty deep subject and the material is also pretty wide. As such I would say that 1 week of study may not be prudent and 2 weeks just a bit better. The Clep NS exam is a Bio-based exam (50% bio) so it is usually better to tackle the bio exam before trying the NS exam.

Pre-Study-Prep: Obtain or set up whatever materials I will need to study (IC Flashcards, REA Books, Standard Deviants Videos, Pass-Your-Class Guides, and Petersons Practice Exams.

Week One: Begin to read books, review flashcards, watch videos. Call your test center and make an appointment in advance as they sometimes require a few weeks advance notice)

Week Two: Re-read books, review flashcards, watch videos Take 1-2 practice exams

Week Three: Continue to review all materials, take additional/final practice exams. You should be passing these with room to spare. Take real exam at end of the week and PASS.

Note you should have at this point already acquired pre-study-prep materials for your next exam so as not to waste time.[/COLOR]

I'm also preparing for Biology. Given the depth of the subject I plan to study for at least four weeks, which is not too bad considering that it's 6 credits. This book plus IC and some lectures from iTunes U should be more than enough.

Welcome! Most people feel that IC should be supplemented with another source... you can use Khan Academy, REA book from Amazon and Peterson's Practice Tests which are free...Click on testing and education on the left, CLEP prep, the CLEP you wanna take and create a free username and password...good luck!
