Advice anyone? I am studying instacert cards for CLEP Information Systems and Computer Apps and need to know if that will overlap enough into DSST Intro to Computers to take both exams tomorrow or if I need any other study source. Thanks.

I took the infor systems CLEP last spring. It was not too difficult I used mostly instantcert to study and passed with no problem. Are you sure you can get credit for both exams? I am enrolled at TESC and they gave me the CLEP info systems credit for the intro computers class. If you are not sure I would check with an advisor, but I would say the knowledge would easily transfer from one to the other. I did take and get separate credit for the Word processing TECEP which was easy after info systems.

There are different versions and the one I took was very difficult. I made a 60 but I have 7 IT certifications and years of experience. I recommend taking Peterson's practice exams as this will be good practice for the Information Systems and Computer Apps. Look up any terminology you don't understand. Good luck!
Passed: Information Systems and Computer Applications, Business Law, Principles of Management and Principles of Marketing.
