I am currently enrolled at UMPI doing the BA in Accounting and the BABA in Project Management. I've been eyeing the BABA Supply Chain Management degree/concentration and I'm wondering if anyone has any experience adding a second concentration while double majoring. If I add the supply chain concentration would that count as another major, minor, or concentration? Is it even possible to add a second concentration? I couldn't find any clear info on this on the UMPI website besides the BLS rules.

Adding a second concentration does not add another major. Supply Chain Management is a concentration not a major. The major is Business Administration. Yes, you can add a second concentration. You just email your academic advisor to request the addition and they take care of it.

That's not common, most of our members have one degree with one major, not many have done a double major, or a double concentration... You can be the guinea pig and do the double major and double concentration, heck, you can add minors too! Majors, Concentrations, Minors, most of those are geared for those who want to know/take a specific number of courses for credit... It really depends on what the student needs/wants for their future educational goals, it's great you're adding to your degree, but remember the energy/money/time spent, if it gives you that extra ROI/Value, go for it. Some may want to go for certs, degree, experience and work on the trifecta...

We've had double majors and double concentrations on here before. Several of us have completed multiple minors, too. On the YourPace Discord, there's a lot of people who've done these things. It's pretty common on there. Many people didn't have to take a bunch of extra courses as we already had several of the requirements completed. For instance, I only needed 1 class to complete the Management Minor at UMPI as I had already completed the 5 other required courses either via transfer or I took them for another minor.
