I'm steadily making my way through the courses, and in my csv file, I came across 2 course providers that I don't know what they are or where I can find them. Anyone know what CIW and ITIL are?
My course providers in the spread sheet are: sophia, study.com, CIW, ITIL, Amazon for cert, coursera.
As for the "Natural Science Lab" course, I can take:
-Human Biology Lab
-Introduction to Chemistry Lab
-Anatomy & Physiology I Lab
-Microbiology Lab
-Anatomy & Physiology II Lab
Anyone know which one would be easier out of all these (less touchstones, content-wise, etc.)?

CIW, ITIL, copy/paste the info in the WIKI link below and do a Google search
You'll need to take the corresponding exam for the class credit, or take them at WGU
-Human Biology Lab should be easier

For CIW, would it be this site? https://corp.ciwcertified.com/
For ITIL, initially I thought it was referencing a website, but looking at it now, ITIL is a sort of framework, so to do these ITIL certs, I would just go to a site like coursera or similar? One that offers certifications?
I was looking through https://degreeforum.miraheze.org/wiki/Common_Terms , but these terms do not seem to be there.
Thank you for the course recommendation!

I am back again!
I sent my admission to WGU, they accepted all my transfer credits with expected start date of Sept 1. I have completed ~53% of the program through Sophia and Study.com in about 4 months, and it was not even 4 months of full study. I took some breaks due to some burnouts (caused by classes I strongly disliked haha, ended up with the "rip the Band-Aid off" mentality eventually).
Earlier this year I was not even sure I could attend a university without going through months of fixing high school marks, etc.
My 2 goals now are as follows:
#1 and priority: do my best to finish the entire program within the 1 semester
#2: I heard that WGU has "excellence awards" which supposedly 1% of students gets. I will also try to achieve one of these, but we shall see if I actually can or not.
Anyways, I am pretty hyped to say the least. I am a bit concerned about their proctoring though, I heard the new company is terrible.

I might have celebrated too early. Apparently my application was glitched and I never even had a student ID, apparently this is not that uncommon, yet, somehow, it was caught quite late. Now I have a meeting in the next couple days with someone to see if they can make an exception to add me for Sept 1.
To say I am angry and frustrated would be an understatement. I gave them everything before august 1 (not to mention all the money I spent to get everything on time), and due to their system, they may force me to oct 1. We shall see I guess...

Hmm... A blessing in disguise! It might actually be to your advantage, get your evaluation again, make sure to try and transfer in more credits from partners.wgu.edu any classes from Sophia.org or Study.com, this will give you extra time to complete the degree in 1 term of 6 months, if you have to do another term, there goes an extra cost.

It turns out they did accept me, so now I start sept 1 officially. I will say this, I thought I would feel more joy, but this month was not good for me (not just their site glitches, had to deal with a bunch of personal stuff). I guess now I just feel a weight off my back / some relief.
Through sophia and study.com I finished all normal classes I could with the exception of the certificates and 1 year-1 intro to programming or something like that class. 52% complete, now I need to finish around 17 classes in 6 months, many of them advanced types. I just need to focus and remember my goal, go fast and save time where I can in anticipation for harder classes where I may need a couple weeks or so.
Thank you all for the help in these past months.

Just to make sure, did you review the partners.wgu.edu to see if you have max out the transfer credit from Sophia.org and Study.com? I think there may be options to extra transfer credit. 17 classes in 6 months may be doable, but dropping that a couple or more would even be better...

I looked multuple times, yes, just to make sure. The only class left that i did not complete was a year 1 intro to programming class available on study.com. i maxed out sophia, and almost maxed out study.com (with the exception of that intro class).
The only other classes left for credits were the professional certificates which i decided to just do at WGU.
The intro to programming class that i did not complete should not be an issue. I have years of programming exp, I would would hope i know the fundamentals bu now.
I agree though, doing as much as i could as part of credit transfers would make it easier, but it looks like they reduced the number of credit transfers compared to 2023.
I spoke to my mentor and she told me i need to do a scripting and programming course which i think is the intro to programming class i didn't do on study.com, and some web dev related classes. All these in theory would be easy since i am a web dev by trade. Perhaps i will be able to gain some valuable time here by finishing them ASAP.
As a side note for anyone interested in BS IN SOFTWARE ENGINEERING, as of sept 1, this program only needs 2 professional certificates to graduate. It was reduced from 3 or 4. Itil foundations 4 nd 1 more that i forget, perhaps the amazon one.
