I have a clep test for Accounting on the 1/28 I already got the Collegeborad examination guide.

Will that be enough to study? I only need to score 60% to pass the exam.

how many questions that I need to answer to get at least 60?

Where can I study for the test and do well? like studying and guaranteeing Im really looking for a help please!

I personally found the Accounting CLEP very challenging, I took it after a long period of studying, but failed with a score of 45! Sad I was able to still fill in that area of credits with the similar DSST Accounting test.

Take note that (as far I could see in both tests) the CLEP has more accounting math than the DSST, and the DSST more vocabulary/concepts. (not knowing this caused me to have low scores for both). So studying for the CLEP, have a good base in both accounting math AND vocabulary/concepts, but remember to keep math from falling into the back compartments of your brain! Smile
I would HIGHLY recommend that you buy the BA II Plus Calculator, and start learning about how to use it online, from the users manual. I really think if I had this, I would have been able to pass the CLEP. (I got it for Principles of Finance DSST, extremely helpful for that test, would not have gotten a 55 on the test without it.)

To get a passing score (50), it's usually recommended that you have practice test scores of about 60%, so to get a score of 60 on the actual test, you need to shoot for 70% on your practice tests. The REA book for the CLEP Financial Accounting test has 2 full-length practice tests for this one. ( REA's CLEP Financial Accounting Test Prep: Comprehensive Review, Strategy Guide, and 2 Full Practice Tests ).

Yes, it will help you practice the types of questions and topics that will be covered on a CLEP exam. (These are not the actual test questions.) It will also tell you when you are ready to take the exam, so use it after you have studied with other resources. It is very rare (A&I Lit) that it will be the only study material that would be used.

No, definitely, take any practice tests and quizzes you can, if you already know a little about the subject, to see where your'e at right now.
Calc. your %, and see how much more work you have before you. If your scores really good (past 70%), on the practice test your taking, then you might not need to get the calculator or extra studying materials.

Wait a second.... Normally a passing score is 50 (scaled score, not necessarily percentage correct). Are you saying that your school requires a scaled score of 60 to pass it? That could be higher than 60% correct; we don't know how they are scored.

No, that is not a D. A scaled score of 50 is considered equivalent to a C. 80 is a perfect score. Your school has higher standards than others do for this exam.

Nowhere on that page does it say the posted scores equal a D and they absolutely do not. Additionally, since Credit By Examination (CBE) is transferrable in Texas, those scores have to be C or better. D grades don't transfer, only C or better.
