Wow! That's great!! I hope others take advantage!! eeya:

They occasionally give you assesments after so many pie pieces are done, but you can request an assesment at any time through the master account.
I was planning on using my netbook with Linux to work on an ALEKS what is the problem? I do not have the memory on the netbook to add to many downloads.

Hi Linda,
Are you able to download them to a thumb drive? It might solve your problem.

For the first ACE transcript, you probably want to wait until you've done all the ACE approved courses that you're planning on doing, and then send it all out for the inital $40 fee. IIRC, transcripts sent after the initial transcript are only $15, though.
Allow me to introduce myself. My name is Wile E. Coyote, genius. I am not selling anything nor am I working my way through college, so let's get down to basics: you are a rabbit and I am going to eat you for supper. Now don't try to get away, I am more muscular, more cunning, faster and larger than you are, and I am a genius, while you could hardly pass the entrance examinations to kindergarten, so I'll give you the customary two minutes to say your prayers.

Another aleks question - when you take an assessment, and don't reach 70%, does it change your pie? For instance, if you mess up an easier question, do all of your pie accomplishments in that area go away?
Thanks to everyone in this thread, i like aleks a lot, it really fits my learning style. Also it's cheap

My academic evaluation was finally updated today at TESC and I can report the following for BA in Liberal Studies:
ALEKS Beginning Algebra was accepted as an extra math course with 3 credits, equivalent to TESC MAT-102.
ALEKS Intermediate Algebra was accepted as fulfilling my college math requirement 3 with credits, equivalent to TEST MAT-115.
Since I have 2 different computer-related courses on my transcript I don't have to take any science exams!!! I called TESC to confirm this and it's true! Whoo-hoo! :hurray:
All of this means that once I complete the DSST Middle East exam this weekend and finish the course I'm taking at TESC this June in the same subject, I'll be done! Oh thank God!!! :coolgleam:
I've attached my updated college plan if anyone is interested. For all you other TESC graduates who plan on attending the ceremony, I'll see you in Trenton this October!!! cheersmate
