I havent heard of mathway. I guess it is true that its cheaper than a class at college. I just really want to be done with it. I have one more credit besides the two math courses and then I will be done so it is really holding me back. On my Eval it said I need 6 credits in Natural Science/math so I just figured two math courses would be best or do I have to have a Science too? I am confused and drained

mathway doesn't even cost you anything. You just have to register.
That and algebrator really helped me a lot.
Where are you studying?

If it's TESC, then it is just math. MathWay is good, I went ahead and bought their (Bagatrix) software pack. I'm studying for the GRE as well and it helps SO MUCH!
EDIT: Depending on your major, you could substitute one computer class for a math/science --BUT be sure to check with your advisor first. Example:
Thomas Edison State College | BA in Psychology Credit Distribution

I looked algabrator up on wikipedia and it mentions free software that is supposedly similar to it. Has anybody tried any of the software that is free? I'm reluctant to pay for anything I cannot hold in my hands.

I think you are going to have to vet those on your own.

MathWay is free and is pretty close to the software I use, and is by the same company (Bagatrix). However, you do need to register for Free to get step-by-step answers to problems.
