Hey everyone,
So I think my degree was awarded for the Summer 2023 term but it's Saturday and I'm going to have to call Pierpont on Monday just to confirm, but in the meantime, I was wondering how I can tell if my degree was awarded?
Like, for example, on my student portal, it says that I'm inactive and on the ROAR Student Service menu, I keep getting the error message "Error: Your Web access has been disabled. Please contact the Computing and Information Services Office for information about your account."
Also, I was curious what would happen if I went to the "Register" section of the student portal and it tells me, "The following items(s) are not resolved:
Action Required
Hold present which will prevent registration: Reapply Due to Graduating"
Degreeworks doesn't indicate if I received a degree neither.
Does this all mean that I was awarded/conferred a degree from Pierpont? Thanks.

When did you actually apply for graduation? It does take time to be processed.

That seems to be a pretty strong indication that you got your degree.

I applied back in the beginning of June for the Summer 2023 term. The reason why I thought it was awarded to me was because of all these messages I saw in the student portal and the fact that some people on here said they were awarded their degrees on the last day of classes from the term they applied for (I checked on the Pierpont website that they were the last day of the term).

That's what I'm thinking too, but I will double check with Pierpont on Monday anyway to see if that's the case...

Does this all mean that I was awarded/conferred a degree from Pierpont? Thanks. I literally came on here to post about this exact same identical problem. My date was august 5th I believe, so I imagine we’re in the same graduating class. It would be nice to have a tiny bit of communication about when it will be conferred and we will receive diplomas, because I was a bit concerned when I went to check & I saw I’m inactive.

The diploma took about 6 weeks to arrive when mine came through. The online portal updated relatively quickly with messages like the ones you mention, but I don't recall the exact message.
Completed
2023 UMPI Bachelor of Applied Science, Minors: Management Info Systems & Political Science, summa cum laude
2022 Pierpont BOG AAS, Area of Emphasis: Information Systems

Look on your unofficial transcript. It should show degree awarded and your graduation date.

You can log into your account, click on Student, Student Record, Unofficial Transcript, and click Submit. Your degree will either show date awarded on there, or be pending. Mine stayed pending until this AM, I was also an August 4th graduate.

Alright, so I recently called Pierpont and they confirmed to me that I was already awarded my degree.
Yay, that means that I am officially a college graduate!
Also, to the person that mentioned to look at my unofficial transcript, I don't have access to that anymore (the ROAR Self Service portal is disabled for me). I might order an official transcript just to confirm since Pierpont did tell me that it would mention the degree that was awarded to me.
In any case, congrats to the Pierpont Summer 2023 grads!
