How much study required for Hist. I
#1
[COLOR="Blue"]Hello all,

First time poster here. I have taken a bunch of cleps with great success but this is my first time using Instantcert. My question is, can I pass History I just by having the Instacert flash cards down cold? I have been studying them and can go through them and answer them all to a 100% level. I am not looking for any score more than the minimum to pass. In fact 51% would be fine for my purposes. Naturally I can study other sources if necassary but I just want to get this one done. I appreciate all responses.

Don, I think you can.

There are even threads dedicated to this subject. Try the search- there are threads where people even earned scores of 60 or higher using only IC. It will give you some encouragement.

I would agree with Cookderosa's suggetion. I would also suggest you make sure you can get through the cards in random order. If you can get all of the answers right simply because you have memorized the order of the cards that will not help you. I find myself doing that occasionally! Otherwise I would say you are ready. I would recommend reading the Specific Exam Feedback, taking a practice test, and if you still feel comfortable schedule the exam. Good Luck!! Don't forget to pass your amazing score. Smile

I would (at the very least) test my skills via either the REA or Petersons (or both) practice exams to get a better sense of my subject strengths - Good Luck!
