Advice for BA in History and Poli Sci from Sophia!
#11
If the Sophia Eng courses gave you a lot of trouble, I would NOT go the TESU route. The Capstone course is a lot more writing than that. That said, wherever you do go, you will have to take the two english courses, and you will have to do some writing. You may want to hire a tutor or take them at a community college so that you can have access to a tutoring center and instructor office hours.
NanoDegree: Intro to Self-Driving Cars (2019)
Coursera: Stanford Machine Learning (2019)
TESU: BA in Comp Sci (2016)
TECEP:Env Ethics (2015); TESU PLA:Software Eng, Computer Arch, C++, Advanced C++, Data Struct (2015); TESU Courses:Capstone, Database Mngmnt Sys, Op Sys, Artificial Intel, Discrete Math, Intro to Portfolio Dev, Intro PLA (2014-16); DSST:Anthro, Pers Fin, Astronomy (2014); CLEP:Intro to Soc (2014); Saylor.org:Intro to Computers (2014); CC: 69 units (1980-88)

I wonder if the defeat is coming in the form of length of time Sophia is taking to grade the papers, and being unreasonable about the whole rubric thing, or if they don't like OP's writing?  If it's the former, then it doesn't matter; if it's the latter, then I too recommend doing some very thorough writing courses.  Because law school is a TON of writing.  A ton.  I have heard that THE best degree to get you prepared for law school isn't history or PoliSci, it's English - because it will help prepare you for the vast amount of writing you'll be doing in law school.
