I studied 2-3 weeks for the history ones. I kept it one week or so for the others. Here's an older thread where people talk about their longest study time.

Rather than saying in weeks, I would estimate it more in hours- for me I'd say no less than 10 hours for most "easy" exams, and some of the ones that covered so much (like US History) I'd figure closer to 20+ using a reliable book. If the prep material is poor, you have to add in extra time to look up more info- like on wikipedia.

Not more than a single day. Sure, I'm kinda smart but really I didn't want to waste my time studying. If I wanted too, I could have stayed in college. Needless to say, I've spent 3 days on the Principles of Statistics exam. Hope that helps. Which exam are you interested in taking by the way? Good Luck!

Generally, I need about 2-3 weeks to study for an exam. For microeconomics I needed a month.

Three Weeks Per.

Week One - Flashcards when in front of a computer, Standard Deviant video when in front of a TV, REA book anywhere else.

Week Two - Same as above + take REA tests at end of week.

Week Three - Same as above expect substitute Peterson exams through the week and end with "official" clep or dsst sample questions the day before my scheduled exam.

(Day one of) Week Four - Take actual exam and PASS! After passing week four now becomes week one of the next exam topic.

The whole process is just like shampoo directions: lather-rinse-repeat-lather-rinse-repeat-etc.
