I am taking the dsst heres to your health on 14 august and am asking anybody who has taken this exam already, which topics should I focus my studies on more so than others? there is quite a bit of information to absorb here and I would like to decipher the less important information so that I can attain optimum studying efficiency for this exam. Any tips or resource links ect. would be much appreciated.

I see you're new here, so welcome.
As far as study resources go whenever you're studying or looking for something it's a good idea to use the search feature. It usually turns up a good bit of info.
Here's the official exam fact sheet
Free-CLEP-Prep always has some great info.
Heres to Your Health DSST Study Guide - Free-Clep-Prep.com ...and he actually has a free full length practice test (PT) for this exam.
Free Clep Prep
And of course the specific exam feedback section.

I agree with searching the forums for specific questions. Copy and paste to a word document for quick reference. I took Here's To Your Health 7-11-12, scored 470 (passing score was 400) the questions are all included in the flash cards. Try to use the audio if you spend a lot of time on the road. Know the Chain of Infection.
