Help - Planning Out a Bachelor's in Business. SNHU / UMPI path?
#1
Hello all,

I have been out of school for a few years now but am looking to transfer in what I can from my prior ASNursing courses and begin working on remaining credits required to obtain a Bachelor's of Business either from SNHU or UMPI. I live in New Hampshire, so there's a silly bias towards SNHU. The final cost is not so much a concern that it plays much of a decision point. A few months ago, I submitted my transfer transcripts to SNHU. Please see the attached PDF for the program guide they sent back based on said transfers. I am now trying to make sense of what I need to take and the best way to go about doing so.

I fully plan on utilizing Sophia, Study.com, etc to the best of my ability. Here is the link to a spreadsheet I have begun putting together. This is based on other spreadsheets I've found here as well as a few tips from former students posted to other sources, like Reddit. I feel nervous and almost overwhelmed at the idea of having to go back to school, so I'm just hoping to get some feedback on my spreadsheet - make sure things are correct and I'm not just taking random courses unnecessarily.

The spreadsheet has been built with SNHU in mind, but if UMPI makes much more sense, I would certainly rearrange things and go that route instead.

TIA to anyone willing to spare their time to help Smile

SNHU usually will allow you to take 2 courses per term for the first couple of terms, then up to 3 for additional terms.  So you could be done in 8-10 months.

Course Experience:  CLEP, Instantcert, Sophia.org, Study.com, Straighterline.com, Onlinedegree.org, Saylor.org, Csmlearn.com, and TEL Learning.

Another option is, since you've got that budget and tuition assistance/reimbursement, you can do a quick UMPI undergraduate degree, then ladder up to the SNHU Masters degree of your choice! My suggestion is to do the UMPI MAOL as well, by completing 3-4 classes that can transfer into the MAOL... So, it'll be the UMPI BABA with a concentration of your choice, UMPI MAOL within the year, and the SNHU within the second year, thus you have hit 3 degrees in the timeframe and budget requirements!
