SUNY Buffalo State University has a 30 credit Master in Multidisciplinary Studies (Data Science / Nutrition).
They allow up to 15 transfer credits, which is pretty generous.

Interesting option if someone can get all the transfer units and complete the program in a semester. How would the MDS degree look to an employer? Pretty cool idea though!

Hmm... You're right... If the individual maximizes that 15 credit transfer and has all the energy, time to get the degree in 1 semester, that would be an amazingly inexpensive Masters at roughly $6,785 plus extra mandatory fees. I can see this as a workable MSc for those who have that one semester worth of energy and time to spare... such as getting a 'semester' off studies/work, etc.
Full-Time Student (12 or more credit hours)
Tuition per semester $6,785.00
Mandatory fees per semester $423.50

Did you check to see if they allow a master's student to take 15 credits in a single semester? Full time for master's students is typically 9 credits per semester and permission is usually needed to complete more than 9 in a singled semester. I can't even imagine trying to complete 15 graduate credits in a single semester. The amount of research and writing is insane.

Not yet, I haven't emailed them as the program isn't really up the list of ones I am interested in... From the links above, it does indicate the possibility of taking 12+ credits/semester at the grad level. Having said that, prospective students should follow up with the institution to make sure they can take the course load and that they have enough energy/time to complete the coursework if they do get permission.
