I took the College Composition test yesterday and experienced a technical glitch! The 3rd section of the test was an essay, however, the essay topic did not appear on the screen. I pressed 'proceed button' and the test ended!! I spoke to College Board in NJ and was told that they have had similiar complaints. The test is new, as of July 10, 2010 so may be that they need to take another look at the computer program. I am now awaiting an official response from College Board as far as what recourse I have, as I had completed the first 2 sections of the test. I am told I may not hear anything for 2 weeks!!! Has anyone experienced problems with this exam?

Ouch.. I feel your pain. While I've not experienced this same situation, I have seen similar situations.
If this is a known issue, as you had said they are aware of it, I'd lean towards expecting Collegeboard doing the right thing and offering you a retake. Likely though, you'll have to retake the whole test. I could be wrong, but I base my assumptions on past experience of similar events.
Good luck! Hopefully they'll get this sorted out for you quickly.
Allow me to introduce myself. My name is Wile E. Coyote, genius. I am not selling anything nor am I working my way through college, so let's get down to basics: you are a rabbit and I am going to eat you for supper. Now don't try to get away, I am more muscular, more cunning, faster and larger than you are, and I am a genius, while you could hardly pass the entrance examinations to kindergarten, so I'll give you the customary two minutes to say your prayers.
Bachelor of Science in PsychoRabbitology degree

Doctor of Philosophy in Wile E. Leadership with an area of specialty in Acme Mind Expansion - 2017 Hopefully
