TEL is $67/credit, which isn't as great as SDC's $30/credit, but still miles better than what you'd be looking at for many universities at $300/credit. The average per credit cost at TESU is going to be far superior to what most other people pay for their degrees. Just to keep it in perspective. Does TEL have UL courses?

Thanks. So if one needs quick UL's before march, can a mix of SDC and that one TEEX course be good? I already got cornerstone, so just need capstone and few UL for BALS no concentration. Will take TEEX death investigation next. Finishing CSM now. Sociology and PSY and maybe history on SDC.
My goal is to get the associate in computer science too.

F*ck Me Dead!
Well, this crap happens to us twice a year at the end of June and December, so it shouldn't surprise me when they increase prices or change the rules on us yet again.
It seems like the best options are TECEPs, UEXCELs, TEL learning, APUS, ASU, CSU-Global, and WGU.
Then we could do up to 16 credits at TESU to avoid residency waiver.
I’m DONE playing games with these schools. I’m going to graduate by June 2021 rather than waiting for the other shoe to drop!
Degrees: BA Computer Science, BS Business Administration with a concentration in CIS, AS Natural Science & Math, TESU. 4.0 GPA 2022.
Course Experience: CLEP, Instantcert, Sophia.org, Study.com, Straighterline.com, Onlinedegree.org, Saylor.org, Csmlearn.com, and TEL Learning.
Certifications: W3Schools PHP, Google IT Support, Google Digital Marketing, Google Project Management

@LevelUP, I totally agree, essentially you should be close to finishing and wouldn't be hit as hard as the ones starting off.
I noticed that you're going for a double degree, just curious, are you taking the 16 credits or paying the residency waiver?

I’ve been so upset about this for hours. I’ve had the crappiest couple of months. I’m going for a BSBA in Organizational Management/HR. I have everything completed except for the finals for 6 study.com classes. All of the quizzes and assignments are completed. I had to pause my membership because of financial reasons. I’m unemployment right now and I’ve broken my foot twice This past year, my husband had his appendix out a month ago and my mother was just in the hospital for sepsis (I’m her sole care taker) now this! I want to scream. All of this work and now this!!! I’m in complete panic mode and in tears. Thanks for the cherry on top of the worst year ever.

I'm taking SOS-110 and the Business Capstone right now. I'm done end of January 2021.
Then I plan to take Liberal Art Capstone and Software Engineering in Feb 2021.
That's already 12 credits so I only need 1 more 3cr class + a 1cr class if I want 16 total credits.
I have the study.com discount so it's $1137 per 3cr course at TESU.
I haven't decided yet if I will take the full 16 credits. I'll make that decision by the time I register for the Feb term.
I do have 45 RA credits so the TESU transfer change shouldn't affect my plans unless the 90 credit limit is spread out over both my degrees combined. I also have the annual study.com so I'll go over the 90 credit ACE limit so I hope these credits still get added to my transcript even if they don't apply to my degree.

I am close but I feel like I'm caught in a bind too, where I have to finish everything in 2 months and the clock is already ticking. They really shouldn't be allowed to change policies so much without more notice. At least give plenty of time for transcripts to arrive or some advance notice.

Hey! The years not over yet! Santa's just making up the final rounds to see who's on his nice list and shipping out his virtual presents! You're very close to completing those study.com finals, I would recommend PM Study.com and also send them an email to their support team to see if they can unlock the course for you to take the finals, explain your situation to them.
They are very accommodating, tell them your story, if that doesn't work PM me and I'll email them to see if they can transfer my referral credits to your account as I have excess credits, these should be able to grant you at least a month, two or up to 3 months. I'll see what can be done with these credits... I don't have much use for them at this time... I'm just curious if it's transferable or not...

woahzer. I'm sooooo glad I buckled down a few months and finished! This would have destroyed me if it had happened at this time last year.
My recommendations to anyone in that boat, don't forget about TECEPS. I actually really liked the ones I took and didn't find them any more difficult than a CLEP.
