@Pats20 , the closest thing to what you're referring to is - E-packs, they are eligible for financial aid and residency credits at TESU.

I’ve seen that. I hope they continue to expand that list as well other institutions.  Looks like psychology majors have some good options. Zero for computer science.

UMPI is a good choice for many degrees! More than ever, I wish they had Comp Sci or at least some sort of STEM degree.

I don't see that coming anytime soon unfortunately. They do have a BLS with 5 minors, bachelor's in accounting, business, project management, criminal justice, management, English, and history/poli sci. The minors are project management, management, management information systems, accounting, and education. So the MIS minor is the closest they have to anything in IT along with project management.

University of London can give you an online degree for 6k GBP:

You can suffice their RA credit requirement by taking self-paced courses on BYU, University of Idaho, Tel Learning.

CUNY has a limit of 45 credits transferring in as non-collegiate credit which includes Sophia and Study.com.

It seems like Community College credits will not count towards the 90 maximum credits allowed. I called them today and they guy from addmissions  seemed to agree with me. I'll call them again tomorrow to confirm with Academic advising.

Community college is typically RA credit. They are not ACE credits. So no they won't count in the 90 ACE credits limit.

Yes, those are RA credit from a university or college so they are excluded from the 90 credit limit.

I received my notice. My deadline is March 1st. I am sitting at 62.67 cr transferred in. I am in tears as I don't think I can do 28 cr by March 1st, but I am certainly going to try. And then what? Do all other courses have to be taken at TESU? Given the cost that will take me the rest of my life (52).

I am on my final leg of SOS-110 which I paid out of pocket for and makes me feel committed/tied to TESU. I understand the change, it makes sense...sigh...

It will be ok. There are TEL Learning courses, TECEPs, UExcels, ASU, community college courses, etc.

COSC and TESU is on the ball, they have to follow what state and accreditation agencies require, in due time, I think Excelsior is going to have to institute something similar.  All in all, for those who are close to getting it done, do the Upper Level requirements right away and transfer them all in.  You can take the SOS-110 course in March at the latest and get your ACE/NCCRS transferred to them before you start or during the course as March 31 is the last day to have them fully transferred in.

If my term ends on dec 27 and I already applied for graduation this should not effect me correct?

you're good. Same here. My capstone ends in Jan, already applied for March Grad, fully paid everything.

We are coming in under the wire.

My feeling is that this is going to end poorly for COSC and TESU, schools like UMPI that take up to 90 and offer competency-based programs are going to be the "go to" for doing what so many of us that come here are doing.

Bring 90 CH from Sophia/SDC into a UMPI credit and it is quite possible to finish up a degree there in two of their terms and less money than the residency waiver alone at TESU is.

That is the path now

Reading the faq it looks like we will probably be the last group to use the old policy sucms for everyone on the forum but im thankful I can still graduate.
