My name is Giannis, and I’m from Greece. I’m about to complete my first bachelor’s degree in Political Science, and since I’d like to pursue a second degree online, Facebook suggested a university named Graham International University. From the little research I’ve done, there are a few red flags—such as the address leading to what seems to be just a house and some of the accreditation institutes that have supposedly recognized it. Since I’m new to this and wouldn’t want to pay for something that isn’t worth it or won’t be recognized, does anyone have any experience with this university?
Welcome to the board, you may want to fill in the addendum and template to provide us more details on what you're looking for and your budget, commitments, study habits, etc that is asked for. Are you looking specifically for a degree from them? If not, skip them altogether, they're unaccredited. Link: https://www.degreeforum.net/mybb/Thread-...Area-works
From clicking the link you provided (I am debating on deleting the link as it's advertising the institution), the owner of the business is the also their most distinguished student, he graduated from that institution with so many fake degrees. Here's a read from the sister board, post #52 & #53: https://www.degreeinfo.com/index.php?thr...ost-606829

Oh no it's not an advertisement and sorry if it looks this way. After reading much better I didn't proceed. UoPeople looks a better option.
Owner of the university: Prof. Graham is celebrated globally for his unparalleled academic achievements. With over 500 professional certifications, more than 30 bachelor’s degrees, 80+ master’s degrees, 8 doctorate degrees, and active pursuit of over 7 doctoral degrees....
Also "GIU achieved Full Accreditation from the Graham International Education Accreditation Agency (GIEAA)." - that is really crazy, to create own "accreditation agency" and proudly use it to accredit own "university".
I am not saying it will not be recognized anywhere, no idea about Kyrgyzstan, or whether QAHE accreditation is really recognized in Moldova, Indonesia, Syria, Macedonia....that would require further research.
But if you are in Europe and that is where you wish to use that degree, I think you made good decision by avoiding it.

Tomas,
Here is an update. GIU has nationally recognized accreditation from IARC. QAHE has MoUs with many recognized bodies. Understand each country has different standards and requirements and not the same from country to country. GIEAA has articles you can read to learn about accreditations, accreditation mills, and diploma mills. If you read those articles, you would know your comments are incorrect.
GIEAA is part of a new education system for African Americans in lieu of CHEA. African Americans now have their own education system and no longer depend on US oppressive policies against African Americans and other minorities. If you like to learn more about Graham Department of Education (GDE), feel free to visit that site as well: https://gde.fgjf.org/.
Understand, people are able to work on multiple degrees in France and the rest of the world using VAE, or, in other words, portfolio. There are thousands of online options to earn degrees, and I manage my time in a manner to multi-task.
If a degree is recognized by CHEA, that means the degree counts and is recognized in the USA. I would think it would be recognized in Europe as well since INQAAHE recognizes IARC as well. FYI, GIU is working with other recognized accreditation agencies in the UK as we speak.
v/r,
Dr. Frankie Graham Jr.

Interesting enough, we're getting traction for an institution because of two first time posters... It's great you're letting us know about the institution and providing these pieces of information. It's just really interesting how this came about in a day or two, intriguing as it is, people need to be diligent and do some research...
My suggestion for anyone who wants to get more details, to make sure all the boxes are checked before you actually start enrolling. Most of these institutions that start off looking for accreditation actually have membership in the accreditation agencies and thus, it's just a membership, not fully accredited. Please double check...
When I do a search, I make a list of what I want and what check boxes it needs to go through before I even post about the institution, then I let readers decide by having them further research and validate whatever they have on their list. Be proactive in finding the program that fits you, decide from a few and finalize that decision.

In his LinkedIn profile, he also earned a lot of degrees from ASIC-accredited schools. He is an expat, so ASIC accreditation may have significant value elsewhere abroad. However, he discredits himself by creating his own accreditation agency and then using it to accredit his university. Furthermore, he used his own university to award himself multiple doctorate degrees.

I did some digging but could not find any information about degree program courses or requirements. It raises a red flag since he has multiple doctorates from "Logos University"
