I received keys to the criminal justice buildings, and I have my own little desk with my own little computer in my own little cubicle. With a few exceptions, Texas does not let public universities grant full tuition waivers; however, the tuition is rather cheap. I received $2,100 in grants from Texas and the university. That leaves me with about $4k to pay for out of pocket or with loans. I couldn't find any scholarships to apply for. Texas State University does offer a stipend that is about $4k-6k higher than the next highest stipend I could find for criminology/criminal justice, so it balances out.
