Accused of plagiarism
I recommend your writing style to reflect your submitted work. Put information and ideas into your own words, and if you do use word for word just cite it. No big deal. I’m not a professor but your style of writing in this post doesn’t look like the submitted excerpt you posted. I’m not saying it isn’t. There could be reasons for it. Maybe it’s because you’re upset. Idk. Professors can pickup a persons writing style by their discussion posts. Try running your work through a plagiarism checker before you submit it in the future. That way you can stay out of these kinds of situations.

I wonder if this was the OP's first college-level course and the definition of plagiarism isn't so clear-cut to them. Shanghai Intl. I ran a couple sentences from the source through a common paraphrasing tool and got word for word what was included in the image, so it seems pretty cut and dry what happened. this is not just a simple mis-cite, but clearly trying to pass off that source.

I passed 10 course here in 1 session error happens. However, when you come down to minority students, you know what I’m not about to go to there. All students are allowed a second chance, especially on a clean track record. It your job as an instructor to correct a student trial in error . I never got accused of such foolery. I could’ve simply correct, this was since I’m black do not get me started

Yeah, I was going for benefit of the doubt at least. Plagiarism was an issue at a school with some students I worked with a few years ago. Actually ended up finding a research paper that included them as respondents, and they just didn't know what constituted plagiarizing and what didn't. Some people think that paraphrasing can be a magic wand and aren't really trained differently. I agree with you, but would like to see the specific examples the professor called out. Shanghai Intl.
