Do you have any idea about her?
Thanks
Just because 1 student struggles with a professor doesn't mean anything. There are professors I have had throughout my life that I loved and I know many people hated them. Just focus on the coursework not the professor. You don't get a choice in professors. You don't get a choice about much in life. Just take the class and finish it this session because it is leaving.

Someone has mentioned on FB that the Visual Communications Class on Sophia counted in place of Art 108 for 2D.

No, it doesn't. I had that one and it did not. I took Art 108. It's not hard but as most lower level courses with UMPI it requires more effort than you expect. Just get it done and squared away.
Completed 2023 UMPI Bachelor of Applied Science, Minors: Management Info Systems & Political Science, summa cum laude 2022 Pierpont BOG AAS, Area of Emphasis: Information Systems

I saw that today and was really confused because there is no studio component to it at all. It the past, it has only transferred in as a general elective. Not even an art course. I took it and it transferred as a GEN1XX which has been the case for many people. So I'm really wondering what changed or if there's more to this story. Or if when the degree audit is completed at graduation that this will hold up. Personally, I wouldn't bet my diploma on this course.

Can confirm visual communications is showing as an Elective 1xx, but it is also saying Requirement GLO2: LOD. every other course which meets GLO1-5, states LO(letter). It should meet the requirements of 2D.
Chemistry is also transferred as a 1xx elective, And it’s saying GLO3 LOD (Environmental or physical process) requirement met for 3D.

@rachel83az, I have been searching for the thread that contains the question about whether UMPI will accept Human Bio or not. Thank you for confirming it!
