Is there anyone who has recently applied to UMPI who could double check with Jessica or whomever is appropriate if the SDC Intro to Meterology will actually cover Gen Ed 3E?
It is on the transfer list Ashkir posted but seems iffy as no actual lab. It would be good to know for sure one way or the other.
Thanks in advance!

No one has posted that they transferred in Meteorology as the lab science yet. I really don't see how it will because they were VERY adamant about completing a lab science when I was going through my GEC last year.

I'm going with ss20ts opinion that Meteorology will likely not fulfill the lab requirement for everyone.
This is based on the fact that UMPI hasn't been consistent with what has come in in the past, such as some courses came in UL for some and LL for others. They also have made significant changes in a short amount of time, and even that database changed within a week.

It's on the transfer list that someone posted (possibly you?) but I think it's an error. I know someone here took it specifically to see if it would work, so we shall see what happens.

Nope I didn't post the transfer list. I do think it's an error. They really say it has to be a lab science.

Yes, seems unlikely, although it would be awesome.
Which is why I was wondering if someone who has already applied to UMPI recently can ASK them if it's real or an error?
I'm down to my last couple Sophia courses and I really suck at Bio, so was hoping to do the Sophia course rather than SDC with a lab.
Meteorology looks easier. But if Meterology isn't going to work, I will skip Bio at Sophia and do it at SDC.

Human Biology on Sophia may be a good refresher for anyone needing to take biology. You also may get elective credit for it as well.

Whom should we contact for something like this? I will try mailing them to conform this. I want to get a clarity on this before starting at study.com

You could contact the Registrar's Office. That's who determines transfer credits.
