Gen Bio, Gen Chem, Gen Phys & Org Phys. Where can I take them online with Lab?

I found another one after a long time searching that also provides the classes, it's at the Iowa community college online page, credits are very cheap at 138 bucks each, only major issue is that they only have the normal school schedule for the online classes(spring,summer,fall) and no accelerated classes except for the summer classes(but very little variety of classes to pick and choose during that term). Also you need to sign-up with one of the 7 colleges that make up the group before you can take any classes which I think is a bit annoying. I would prefer if you could take a couple of classes a semester without having to sign up for degree program with the school like many schools do(at least around here where I live they do).

I live in Massachusetts, I did check quite a few local schools to be sure some other didn't have it locally. But I had no luck in finding any "yet". The only other school I was able to find was Oregon State University, it seems ok in quality and they even have online labs, but they charge through the nose for them, they use quarter hour system and the classes would come out to 15 quarter hours for the whole of only General biology at 208 bucks a credit it's 3,120 which I found to be anything but cheap.

Here is the Massachusetts college online website that shows ALL the states college courses that are available online. You'll be able to save a lot paying in-state tuition with them, if they're fee are good anyway. Maybe even by getting grants for a particular school that may have most if not all of the courses you need.

Thanks for helping me look, I had found that site before too. It does show a lot of classes, but only from the local community colleges and not one of them has any of those courses online. I already had looked at the Wikipedia link that showed all the state schools, and after spending most of last night I found none locally in any of them that had what I was looking for.

Below is a link to UMUC. I have never dealt with them, but I ran across it looking for something else. (they are regionally accredited, so thats good). They offer Biology and Lab online and also an Intro. physics and Lab online. I'm sure if you would be considered out of state the tuition is higher. But, I posted a link to their locations as well. If there's one in your state, you could get in state tuition.

Rio Salado College - Class Schedule

They have accelerated classes too! They are regionally accredited. I know a lot of people on the allnurses.com website use it for anat & phys.

Colorado Community Colleges Online is also an option, but it's rather like the Iowa set up. I applied to a home college, thinking I could use them to finish Gen Bio II with lab and Gen Chem II with lab...(my local college does not offer them on a consistent time table) CCCO does offer those kinds of classes, and they are very nice, but I am rethinking going with them as there are quite a lot of hoops to jump through just to take a few classes. I am looking now at Rio Salado.

UMUC = University of Maryland's University College. It's the adult ed division of the U of Maryland (Fear The Turtle!), and like Excelsior it has a long history of catering to military personnel. Apart from the main campus and some DC-area class sites, the stateside and international locations are all military bases. (civilians are allowed to attend classes there, though) MD residents and active-duty military personnel/spouses pay $230/credit hour; everyone else pays $490/credit hour.

The 3-hour BIOL101 plus its 1-hour BIOL102 lab (or the 4-credit BIOL103, which includes a lab) will run you $1960. With required materials, it's $2079. In-state/active military total cost is $1039.

So unless you're a neighbor of mine, you'll probably want to keep looking for alternatives...

not the greatest prices for out of state but i have seen far worse and the course offerings are real good for science and math
