Is there a thread for the general GRE? I have looked through each page of the Specific Exam Feedback and have not seen one. I am interested in taking this test soon, but don't know what materials and/or practice tests to use. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

I'm currently deciding which study guide to buy. It looks like the top 3 are by ETS (official), Princeton Review (Cracking), and Kaplan. I'm also considering Barron's 6 Practice Tests book because I like the idea of written, not online, practice exams, and I have done well with Barron's for the GED and SATs. That author made a list:

It looks like there is quite a bit of free material at the ETS website.

I think my library has Peterson's or another type of GRE practice tests online, too.

There is so much available for this exam. I just need to be sure that I choose a study guide with the correct focus for my goals - math, but I'm concerned about the essays.
