I have to take the GRE or GMAT to apply for an Air Force Officer Program. For those who have taken either tests, can you share your experiences and the pros and cons of each? I'm definitely going to have to put weeks, if not months, into studying as I'm sure I won't do well by winging it, but I would love pointers and feedback. I will have to test no later than August 2016.

The GRE is generally regarded as somewhat less quantitative than the GMAT, but even the GMAT's quantitative section (to my memory) doesn't require math skills beyond the high school level. They're quite similar otherwise, and neither are particularly difficult. The GRE is significantly cheaper than the GMAT and is accepted for a wider range of programs, including most business schools, so unless you have some interest in applying to a business school in the next 5 years, I suggest the GRE.
