Here is the clearinghouse for distance learning classes in India:
https://swayam.gov.in/ I have enrolled in several of these classes. However, the final exams are always in an Indian city somewhere and I've never completed the classes. You can check them out and report back. My guess is that at least some of these could transfer into an American university via WES or other credit evaluation agencies: https://www.wes.org/partners/wes-evaluation-reports/

We have Pearson Vue Testing Centers in India, which offer a wide variety of tests including GED and Uexcel. They don't have CLEP as yet.

Ya - looks like CLEP isn't there yet, but DSST and Uxcel are available. Another possibility is TECEPS, which are completely online. So how do you forward your GED scores? Is it done internally or do you have to forward a transcript?
thanks

You create an ACE credit account first. And in that, you enter details of GED. ACE will verify the dates on which you completed GED, and award you the credits.

For people considering it, here is the GED info.
https://ged.com/ I found a database inside of ACE that listed (their list) colleges that award credit for the GED - I can not for the life of me find it again..... Why is ACE's website so hard to navigate?

You could search by state and tick box the type of ACE credit you wanted to use (GED, Workforce, AP, CLEP, etc.) and it would return schools that guaranteed transfer. I still can't find it. |
