Hello, I posted on this board several years ago (2016) with the intention of finishing a bacherlors in business.
Life got in the way, and I didn't end up pursuing it.
That said, I just lost out on a major promotion in my field due to a lack of a bachelor's. So it would be smart to get it now.
Back in 2016, the best play was TESU. Is that still the case? I prefer lowest cost, but I also care about speed a little more. I will be working full time while doing this, but I am dedicated to putting in long hours to make it work. Someone made me a degree plan back then on here that would have been about $8,000. Is that still the case, or have the costs of the capstone and the non resident fee gone up in the last seven years?
Below are my current completed courses from Cascadia College:

Hey JobaJoba, Welcome back! Long time no chat... That's a very good start by providing some basic info, having said that, it's best to complete both the template and the last post addendum here: https://www.degreeforum.net/mybb/Thread-...Area-works | BTW, did you do anything more in regards to ACE/NCCRS cheap/free credits since 2016? I commented a couple of times on your initial thread here: https://www.degreeforum.net/mybb/Thread-...ng-my-plan

Budget: I'd like to go the cheapest route possible, but will consider spending more for easy and fast.
Commitments: I currently work full time. 70-80 hour weeks, and can work on my studies in the evenings or in gaps between meetings at work.
Dedicated time to study: I can study as much as is needed during the night or weekends as long as my schedule is free. I estimate at least 4 hours every day.
Timeline: Finishing the courses required for the degree as fast as possible would be ideal. I would like to finish in under a year if possible.
Tuition assistance/reimbursement: None available. No Military experience.
I have not completed any additional coursework other than getting my AA degree in 2015.

Sophia + UMPI is likely to be both lowest cost and fastest now. I would estimate the fastest to be BLS Project Management, but there are various options: Category:UMPI - Degree Forum Wiki (miraheze.org)
Pierpont Community & Technical College 2022
Associate of Applied Science - Board of Governors - Area of Emphasis: Information Systems
Western Governors University 2022
Bachelor of Science - Cloud Computing
Charter Oak State College 2023
Bachelor of Science - General Studies - Concentration: Information Systems Studies
Thomas Edison State University 2023
Bachelor of Arts - Computer Science
Associate in Science in Natural Sciences and Mathematics - Mathematics
University of Maine at Presque Isle 2023
Bachelor of Applied Science - Minor: Project Management

Basically, I agree with the Sophia.org + UMPI to finish out the degree, however, having said that, because of your commitments and time, it'll take you at least 2-3 sessions. At the least, it'll be $2800, at the most, it'll be $4200... Quickly apply, get your transcripts sent into UMPI and take Sophia.org courses that do not duplicate your credits, up to 90 credits total for transfer to UMPI.
Here's the UMPI degree plans on the WIKI, make a spreadsheet and place your classes in there, place it in your one/google drive and link us (make the file viewable not editable). I suggest the BLS Management, PM, or MIS option, you may need to double minor or triple minor if you wanted to... https://degreeforum.miraheze.org/wiki/Category:UMPI

Got it, I just appled to UMPI. Do I need to tell them about my plan to use Sophia.org, and they can help me plan, or should I just bring them all the credits at the end?
I am frankly a little worried about figuring out what units would transfer in where from my previous degree, and about knowing which Sophia courses to take.
$4,200 is a lot better than the $8,000 TESU would have cost back in the day, so that is good news!

They won't help you with a plan - but this forum most certainly can. Here is the GE wiki page for Sophia to UMPI, they have everything you need (outside the required 30 credits at UMPI) - https://degreeforum.miraheze.org/wiki/UM...quivalents At quick glance I can see that you need Biology With Lab, and Spanish I - there are others too, but the wiki can help you plan.
It has been reported here that the 'Management and Leadership' minor will likely take the fewest terms to complete.
Amberton - MSHRB
TESU - ASNSM/BSBA

Got it, thank you.
So my next step is to get my transcript evaluated, see what else I need, take those courses through Sofia, then come back and enroll in 10 classes over 2 terms at UMPI to hit the 30 credit minimum through them last?
Is there a capstone or any other fees other than the roughly 20 Sofia courses ($500 if I take four per month), and the 10 UMPI classes over two terms ($2,800).

UMPI doesn't have a Capstone for their bachelor's degrees. UMPI will be $1500 per session beginning Fall 1. There are no additional fees.

For UMPI, unlike TESU, you cannot simply continue to transfer in classes all willy-nilly. Once you are an enrolled student, you will need permission to transfer in further classes. Since you have already applied, you may want to defer enrollment after you get your evaluation back, to allow you to fill out the GEC (gen eds).
You can follow https://degreeforum.miraheze.org/wiki/UM...quivalents to match up what you already have with Sophia offerings and take what's missing. Your Intro to Chemistry, did that include a lab? If so, between that and your Nutrition class, you should be set as far as sciences go. But you absolutely must have a foreign language: DO NOT TAKE UMPI'S SPANISH OR FRENCH CLASSES. Spanish I at Sophia is currently the quickest/easiest way to do that if you're not fluent in something. If you do know another language like French, German, etc., you can take an ACTFL exam for credit.
In progress:
TESU - BA Computer Science; BSBA CIS; ASNSM Math & CS; ASBA
Completed:
Pierpont - AAS BOG
Sophia (so many), The Institutes (old), Study.com (5 courses)
ASU: Human Origins, Astronomy, Intro Health & Wellness, Western Civilization, Computer Appls & Info Technology, Intro Programming
Strayer: CIS175, CIS111, WRK100, MAT210
