Hi the name is Saybur
(name of my husky, she passed away six months ago)
6 month lurker 1st time poster
I just came by to introduce myself and inform you guys of my plans, any and all advice would be and is greatly appreciated
after months of absorbing all the information I could from this fantastic forum and other net resources I have decided I want to pursue a BSBA General management degree from TESC as laid out by Sanantone
I will be doing this with no credits to my name to start and having never stepped foot in to a secondary class room.
the only two questions I have is, I know this seems ambitious but, would it be possible to complete this in under six months?
also any ballpark guess on about how much this would cost?
the reason why I am doing this is for a couple reasons 1: I would like to open my own business someday and feel like this would help me achieve my goals 2: I will be going to teach english overseas and this degree will help me obtain my visa.
I plan on beginning my quest after the 4th of july.:willynilly:

I'm not sure how much of that degree you'd be required to take as online courses, but assuming it's no more than 1 or 2, you'd need to be taking a 3 credit exam every 10 days or so. For some exams, this is doable. In my signature you can see the dates when I took different exams, and the turnaround on some of them was very quick. However, I don't think that pace is sustainable if you have any other commitments going on in your life. I think it would take a toll on you quickly, but perhaps you have more stamina than me.

My life at this moment is pretty much work training and home I don't have much in the way of
obsticles and if it is physical stamina I don't see to much of a problem I've doing Mix Martial Arts for 5 years so on the physical portion I am not too concerned, If you are referring to mental stamina I have confidence in it but I do agree that to much at once might break me down

Well, yeah, I mean mental stamina. Unless you need to physically run miles to each testing facility
Having an upcoming exam is a stressor, and if you never take any breaks from that it can be very taxing.
The other thing to keep in mind that, depending on how you take your exams, scheduling them can be tricky. Most of the dates you see in my list weren't my first choice. They were constrained by testing facility availability and my own schedule. I probably could have gone faster in some cases, but was unable to.

Hey I am new to this forum`and have to take three DSST's Criminal Justice, Introduction to Law Enforcement, and Here's to your health. I am planning on taking the Health one first and was wondering how did you study for these exams? I bought some study guide sheets for the health course at free-clep-prep also. I would really appreciate the feedback thanks

what would I be looking at for the math portions? mainly just on how many tests there are for a BSBA in Gen Management and degree of difficulty.
The reason I ask like so many other people Math is my weakest subject, that and I haven't gone beyond basic math since I graduated high school 8 years ago

You might want to try looking at ALEKS for your math courses. Start with Beginning Algebra if you need to review. Then do Intermediate Algebra, College Algebra, Stats, and PreCal or Trig, which would all apply to your degree requirements. At $20/ month with no proctoring requirements, it's quite a bargain. There are lots of helpful suggestions for taking ALEKS classes on these boards.
BA, MA, EdS, MMT, etc.
