After a promotion at work and a transfer to a new city/state, my efforts toward completing my degree have been on the shelf for over a year and a half.
I've actually completed all of my core (read: upper division) requirements for my major but have a number of lower division electives to complete. I got on the right track back in '05 and took 3 DANTES tests in a 2-month period of time, passing them all.
So -- tomorrow will mark my first exam since that time. I picked a relatively easy one (DANTES Here's to Your Health) to get warmed up with, since I work in the health insurance field and the forum notes indicate that it's a lot of common sense. I've been studying the IC flashcards for a few days on and off and have hit them harder tonight.
I'm a little disappointed that I couldn't find any DANTES test centers in town that offer computerized testing, so I'll be in suspense for a month or so before getting my score. But just hopping back on the horse tomorrow will be an important step.
Best of luck to all of you that are also testing tomorrow and thanks to all who have posted feedback about the exam.
Regards,
Kimberly
