Does UMPI have a social studies and history minor? I was not aware your pace had this option. Is there a list of UMPI minors for yourpace somewhere?

They do offer those minors on campus. They're not available in YourPace. You can transfer in the credits to complete the minors, but you can't complete them in YourPace as the courses required aren't available. The minors available in YourPace are on the website. They're all part of the BLS degrees. There's only 5 minors available.

Is there a list of UMPI minors for yourpace somewhere? Interesting, I don't know why I thought the History minor could be completed using the History courses offered in YourPace. Not sure how much this matters now as I'm likely flaking out on UMPI. I found out while clearing out emails this morning that I was accepted to TAMUC (last year for Org Leadership and a week ago for General Studies). Never received any sort of notice last year either through email or ApplyTexas, so I assumed I was rejected and TAMUC forgot to send out a decision. It's plausible considering my rough academic history. I applied for a second time a couple months ago. Months passed again so I assumed rejection again. Neither the subject title ("Thank you, we've received your application") nor the email itself indicated an acceptance. Thankfully I checked my admissions account before deleting it. I'm a Texas resident and qualify for the $750/session tuition, plus all of my credits transferred seamlessly. I will only need the 4 BGS courses and 6 UL electives at TAMUC to graduate. A little bummed about not being able to take history/poli sci electives, but the Texas A&M system name on my diploma at an almost 50% tuition discount is unbeatable. I'm going to make another thread detailing my experience with TAMUC admissions. I can understand the mix-up considering it's a small program at a decent-sized university. I would hate for anyone else to fall through the cracks though.

You may be able to complete the History Minor in YourPace because there is a BA in History, but you have to check with an academic advisor about it as it's not one of the minors that is technically available in YourPace.

4/24 Update
Just received my official credit evaluation this weekend. Transfer credit petition was successful, and surprisingly, one of my comms courses counted towards Business Communication. If I were to enroll at UMPI, I would only need Project Management, Change Management, HR Management, and Operations Management, along with 6 electives. I’m still leaning towards TAMUC, but my schedule is out of sync with my advisor’s and I haven’t managed to register yet. I haven’t completely thrown out UMPI simply because of the possibility of finishing in 1 term (8 weeks) due to the electives I could knock out quickly. One term definitely isn’t doable at TAMUC given others’ experiences (and my own at this point). I also like the idea of having a “concentration” to list on my resume. The root of my indecision is really that I’m becoming ansty and want to enroll ASAP. Especially considering UMPI’s term starts in 2 weeks and TAMUC’s starts in 3 — and neither school will process financial aid until I register. TLDR — debating between time and accessibility (UMPI) vs the local recognition of the Texas A&M system and a local commencement (TAMUC). Planning to talk it over with family and friends tonight.
