My BSBA in CIS was conferred today, and I wouldnât have been able to do it without DegreeForum and the awesome members here. Thank you all for your helpful posts and support!
I initially came to DegreeForum in late 2013 after finding out I could complete some CLEP courses to graduate quicker from my first university. After reading through DegreeForum, I realized I could save a lot of time and money and graduate faster if I transferred to one of the "Big 3". I ended up transferring over a lot of credits from my first university to TESU (known as TESC at the time). I planned out my degree with help from this forum and then started completing courses from various sources. Eventually things just got way too overwhelming and I gave up and stopped after some months.
Every year I came back at least once on DegreeForum just to check back, and see if anything would motivate me to resume college and complete my degree. I finally got the motivation to re-enroll in April this year after seeing a Penn Foster course I had already paid for was not going to be accepted as a transfer for the capstone requirement and also due to not having a job either. The past months have been very busy, with me working right until the deadline to finish my final courses/exams for September graduation, and I'm glad to finally be done.

I'm always happy to complete the free application waiver for those applying to WGU (I get a free gift from WGU for this). Just PM me your first/last name and a valid email so I can complete their form.

Haha, great work... I am sure hoping to finish my degree(s) by the end of this month and apply for Dec grad.
I love seeing these type of finishes as it warms my heart and keeps me moving forward towards my own goal.

Great work. I've been on the board over a year, but like you didn't get the itch to take classes to finish until I read about the PF course not being accepted for the capstone. Again Congratulations!!!

Awesome job! you really helped me to have confidence on the Saylor courses which was great. So my question is about graduation, did you apply today for December graduation or did you get an email from the registrar clearing you for "official" graduation at the September 24th commencement? I am wondering how hard and fast the Oct. 1 deadline is for December graduation If I am a week or two past that date If they will still process me through. Congrats again on your accomplishment. On to a masters?
