That could majorly backfire! There's no guarantee that anyone will get a specific professor. No one knows who will be teaching which courses next term either. You don't get to choose who your professors are.

Thanks for your advice. Yes, I want to avoid doing a second term as much as possible because I don’t have a lot money. I have already completed some courses at UMPI. International Relations would be my fifth course completed. I am just afraid that it will slow me down, considering I have a lot of courses left to do. However, I am working at a quick pace, and hopefully this won’t hinder me too much. I appreciate your response and will take your advise and email my advisor.

Students on Reddit report that UMPI lets you have up to 4 classes open at once if you just ask.
I suggest opening a new class after you turn in the draft.
Be careful towards the end of the term since everything must be done, or else you earn an F.
Yes it is 100% possible to have four classes going at once--or more classes than four--if you are handling the course load (submitting quality assignments), you have time, and you've submitted draft(s) for the final(s) and are possibly going to be sitting on your hands for 3 days waiting for your submissions to be graded.
OP I would not change professors. Tough it out and see if you can add another class if you so desire. If you call the right ppl, speak up, and verbalize your desire to avoid a second term, they will work with you. Hopefully you maximized your transfer credits prior to enrolling

Yes, thank you. What I am currently doing to avoid doing nothing on the weekends, when I cant eroll in any courses, is working on the finals for other courses that I plan to take. I am able to do this because a while ago someone posted the competency details for each poli sci/ history course. This has helped me so far because usually by the time I do take the course I only need to do the milestones, which in short courses only take a day.
I did as much as I could through Sophia. As of now I have about 9 courses left to complete.
