since NA is okay, you might want to look at California Coast University.
https://www.calcoast.edu/ $8k for a master in psych, self-paced. They also have MEd and EdD options.

Walden University is Regionally Accredited. They have a competency-based Psych degree. If you can finish in 1 year, it'd be about $12k. https://www.waldenu.edu/online-masters-p...psychology

From what I understand, you basically read materials and take tests/write papers. There’s not really any “instruction”. Could be good or bad. And you really do work at your own pace.

Which is the fastest cheapest route? @dbwdb, In addition to what was provided, I would recommend providing more details on your situation by following the template and addendum here: https://www.degreeforum.net/mybb/Thread-...Area-works Everyone will have different scenarios, situations, or variables at play when looking for a degree program. By knowing more info, we can properly provide either a NA/RA self paced option or a competency based provider. From reviewing your previous threads, you seem to have a BALS from TESC and have been looking at a Masters program for a few years now. Have you decided on any schools yet to add onto a list of possible institutions? Alpha Wrote:Coming in at just under $5K is the Buena Vista University MEd. Thank you for all the replies. Anyone know more info. about U of the People masters in ed.? Is the total cost really approx. 3k and what is the duration?
Also, I see some of these programs accept transfer credits. Anyone know very low cost courses in ed. or psych. I can take as transfer credit?

In that format, you only ever have contact with an instructor when you have questions or your grades are on the slide and they have to step in. Many schools use this method to varying degrees depending on the program subject. LSU was big on it for a long time, not sure if they still offer it. Many Doctoral programs are similar also, especially those that are mostly or entirely by research. It's definitely not for everybody and many don't make it because they feel the lesser interaction decreases their level of motivation.(06-12-2022, 11:51 AM)jsd Wrote: since NA is okay, you might want to look at California Coast University.

UofP MEd Advanced Teaching is an interesting one I looked at as well, it depends on how fast you can complete courses. The cost is in their fees page. I would estimate people like me or you would need the "full" 2 years to complete the courses. Unfortunately, unless you have grad credits for transfer and it "hits" the spots, you won't be accelerating at all with UofP. Moreover, it would be more expensive to take courses elsewhere and transfer them in... much more expensive and even more time consuming as well. Cost, Ease, Speed wise, it would be best done entirely at UofP.
