UofP MEd Advanced Teaching is an interesting one I looked at as well, it depends on how fast you can complete courses. The cost is in their fees page. I would estimate people like me or you would need the "full" 2 years to complete the courses. Unfortunately, unless you have grad credits for transfer and it "hits" the spots, you won't be accelerating at all with UofP. Moreover, it would be more expensive to take courses elsewhere and transfer them in... much more expensive and even more time consuming as well. Cost, Ease, Speed wise, it would be best done entirely at UofP.
Thanks for the response. I see U of the P accepts up to 18 transfer credits- any inexpensive ways to transfer in credits- would VESI CEU courses transcribed as graduate credits by some colleges work here?

VESI courses should work, as long as they're actual graduate credits and not CEU/CUs. But most of the VESI courses cost more than UoPeople courses.

But they can be completed faster? Is there a list somewhere of low cost universities that will transcribe CEU VESI courses to graduate credit courses?

For some reason I thought American College of Education had stopped enrolling students and was winding down. I must be thinking of something else.

@dbwdb, you can review VESI's details, I think the cost, energy, time involved would be greater going that route instead of sticking with UofPeople. You can do a calculation and see which would be better for you in the long run...

Also, I see some of these programs accept transfer credits. Anyone know very low cost courses in ed. or psych. I can take as transfer credit? Costs have raised from $200/course to.the current $300/course. Total the M.Ed is around $4000 for specializing in either Elementary or Secondary, and $5000 for specializing in both, potentially more if you do an internship semester at an IB school because it makes the degree longer and worth more credits. Scholarships aren't available to Master's students.
You can transfer in up to 18 credits but I haven't yet seen anyone who's transferred in anything to one of their Master's courses.
Maximum possible degree duration is 51 credits (including internship and double specialization), normal classes are 3 credits each, you can take 0-4 classes per term, terms are 8-10 weeks each depending on holidays etc. Normal completion time is 2 years I think.
As an example of the workload, class 1 week 1 term 1 contains 12 reading assignments, 1-2 forum assignments and 1 short paper (4-6 pages) in APA format. Most people can't do a full 4 classes per term and instead stick with 1-2.
Finished: 2 AAs, 1 BA, 2 trade schools, 3 ENEB MAs, JLPT N1.
In Progress: 1 WGU MA, 2 Mastercurssos, 3 more ENEB MAs, teacher license.

That's the main or only program I am interested at UofPeople, their MEd Advanced Teaching as it's endorsed by IB... Otherwise, you can get a comparable one for cheaper at just $2500 from a newly minted DEAC university, it's the only program they offer too... I'll leave you hanging searching for it, haha! University of Pasadena is a great name.
Nobody has ever told me anything negative against the UoPeople name, but only once somebody asked me about it, but it was in the sense "What´s your goal studying computer science in relation to finance?" (as it was a risk analyst position). But I´m sure that it was mainly ignored because the AS degree doesn´t exist here.

Definitely a good name choice.
Unfortunately, I've written them twice (once by email and another through their web form), and they never replied. Not a good sign.
