Anastasia-you won't regret attending. Well worth the time. As for me, I'm continuing with Excelsior and working on an MBA.
Best wishes to you.

I initially waivered a bit thinking that I don't want to spend the money or take the time to go out there, but seriously, graduating after more than 25 years is a big deal to me, and I want to walk in the cap and gown - the whole thing. I think I/we deserve that, don't you?
I also can couple it with visiting friends on the East Coast, and that helps close the deal.
Do you think it's wise to meet strangers off the internet that you don't know? The user who agreed to meet you has been registered for 3 months and you're agreeing to meet him? Wow!

The same person you meet in a supermarket, pet store, bar or where ever for that matter is the same person you are likely to meet off the internet.
The uni bomber was not surfing the world wide web nor was Manson... The fact is to meet people attending THE GRADUATION and not in some back alley, so calm down.
I have notice all of you post and there never seem to be anything positive coming from you. This site serves as a support to us Edu-webbers, so please try and embrace something positive and wish our fellow graduate all the best.

Thanks, martialartist for your handling of that. Yes, meeting folks from IC in a group at a public graduation will be fun and safe. It's unfortunate for Calico if that is the mentality that carries her through life as seems evident, as you noticed, from her other posts.

Is 'Calico' still hanging around here on this forum.
You didn't stay away and move on for long did you? I suspect nobody wanted you on their forums either.:nopity:
Unless you have something constructive to say do as you say and 'move on':puke:

I'm still debating wheter to post that threatening pm you sent me or just foward it to the mods. It shows what a "classy" person you are.
To the OP, a lady in our town was nearly murdered for meeting a stranger off the internet. I was only telling you to be cautious. If i knew the lone ranger was going to ride in and speak for you, i would've sent a pm. It's funny how guys always want to protect females who don't give a damn about them.

Well, Calico, since you have gone out of your way to insult several members of the board recently, I did not think it was likely that your "helpful" warning was going to be received as such.
I feel bad for the new members of the forum. Your comments in the past several weeks are not in any way a reflection of the helpful, supportive, and encouraging environment that this forum is meant to be.

Marianne -
I know that you are facing a major issue with this surgery. Is it still scheduled for the end of May? Do the doctors say that it will be a fast recovery time?
I do hope that you will be able to come to the graduation and celebrate with all of us! It would be wonderful to meet you!
