That way we will accept everyone for who they are nerd, stalker, pervert, socially awkward, creep, etc. because we will be more concerned about getting mugged. YIKES!

Sorry for the nonsense, I think I had too much coffee throughout the day.

hilarious Taylor, in your last life were you a comedian; your humor reminds me of a seinfeld episode? darn funny!

bricabrac, thanks. Me and seinfeld in the same sentence? Wow, it only goes downhill from here so I better quit while I'm ahead.

Humor is subjective, my friends tell me my jokes are dumb and annoying while my ex wife just gave me dirty looks when I cracked a joke. But I had complete strangers, who unbeknownst to me were listening to our conversations at a restaurant, tell me my jokes were hysterical even though nobody at my table was laughing:confused: . I need new friends.

Don't worry...I get exactly the same...it's called "dry wit"!! And not everyone gets it. Ok, if not seinfeld (elaine dancing still kills me, or kramer & mr costanza's man-zear Confusedmilelol: )...how 'bout George Carlin!Wink Better?:p

I have my follow up / pre-op appt next month. Depending on how this ultrasound looks they will decide if they can do it as an endoscopic procedure or an open procedure. I'm shooting for the last week of May or first week of June. I'm hoping for a quick recovery. I'm a tough old bird, so I hope to come through it with flying colors...purple and gold to be specific! I want to be there! I had to buy my graduation regalia a few weeks a go for work, so I'm ready to go! I will keep you posted, so we can meet up.

I got my invitation, but probably won't attend as that's the middle of summer semester. I'd forgotten what it's like to have my lifestyle tied to an academic calendar. :ack:

Have a rockin' time at graduation, everyone!

Hi Perrik!

I am disappointed that we won't get to meet and celebrate with you at the graduation ceremony.

I hope you will get to watch it on the web and celebrate your accomplishment with your friends and family.

I also hope that graduate school is going well for you. So many of us have that as our goal, too.
