I was scheduled at a national testing center for a DSST exam at 11am today. The proctor emailed and received information back in January on how to launch the test and allow me to pay for it. However this information did not help and we have been working on it for 3 hours with no help from Prometeic. Anyone else had this experience? Anyone know what to do? She has some browser downloaded - but it requires credentials she doesn't have. The guy in January told her it was her normal Prometric credentials but those didn't work. Another person said that they need a separate certification but couldn't assist her in obtaining it or instructions on how to obtain it.

I've taken DSST exams as a civilian at a local technical college. The first time I tested with them, it took them about twenty minutes to sort out the correct proctor credentials. They told me that people rarely take DSST exams there, and I was their first tester in a while.
Was this at a Prometric location or somewhere else in their network?

It was at a prometric testing center, that also is a nationally certified testing center outside of prometric. She said nobody has taken the test there in many years - since before she was there! They refunded me for the proctor fee but said they will reschedule when they get someone from Prometric back.
